TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION

Transformers: Age of Extinction is a three hour long film by Michael Bay illustrating and continuing the story of the popular Cybertronians in their fourth feature film. Taking place five years after the previous film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Transformers are now an endangered species.
"After all we have done, humans are hunting us." These are the words of Optimus Prime, explaining to Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) what has transpired in the past five years since the "Disaster of Chicago." In Dark of the Moon, the Decepticons launched a full-scale assault on Chicago, attempting to over-run it and spread out from there, conquering and destroying the world.
The Autobots fought off the Decepticons, causing them to flee and never return to Earth. Those that remain are also being hunted.
Throughout Age of Extinction, we get a clear picture of why the Transformers are being hunted. The world's governments believe that "alien robots" should not be allowed to "fight our wars" because of the devastation caused in Chicago.
Optimus Prime is one of the few remaining Transformers and Autobots remaining on Earth. Those remaining with him may be unknown to non-Transformers super-fans. They are Hound, Drift, Crosshairs, and Brains. These five are all that stand between Lockdown and Earth's survival.
However, they are reluctant to save Earth once again.
"How many more of my kind must be sacrificed to atone for your mistakes?" Optimus is tired of protecting the human race, and feels resentment towards those who are hunting him down. But not only are the humans hunting the Transformers to eliminate them. They are hunting them in order to re-create them.
Joshua Joyce (Stanley Tucci) is the head of a large corporation called K.S.I., which has melted Transformers down and used thier metal to create their own versions of Transformers. This poses a threat to the remaining Autobots. Joshua is also trying to create an ultimate version of Optimus Prime. He has called it Galvatron. But in reality, it is a spin-off and indestructible version of Megatron.
Humans have teamed up with Lockdown in order to receive what is called "The Seed." This "Seed" contains the material that the Transformers are made of. Unstable, and highly volatile, this material is what allows the Transformers to shift between their vehicle and humanoid forms. And Joshua Joye has created 50 of his own Transformers. He has called the models Junkheap, Stinger, Traxes, Two-Heads, and Bosses. These models are highly dangerous...even for the Autobots.
War ensues as usual in Michael Bay's previous Transformers entries, and the Autobots must "call in re-inforcements." What are re-inforcements? Well, the Dino-bots, of course! The all-star cast of Dino-bots stars Grimlock (T-Rex), Strafe (Pteranadon), Slug (Triceratops), and Scorn (Spinosaurus).
Transformers: Age of Extinction is definitely a film worth the price of admission. Just make sure you have some candy, popcorn, and a large Pepsi, 'cuz this film is very, very...long.

Rating: 7.5/ 8 out of 10 Cybertronians because of the same story line basically, except a lot more explosions. And a lot longer. Still good though.

Family Friendliness: Outta 10, way down to 2. A ton of swearing, a lot of explosions, and overall, just downright not for your little ones. Obviously.

Awesomeness: Outta 10... off of the charts to 12. Totally awesome!!
