Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Well, here you have the DC Fanboy's greatest anticipated movie of the year that officially kicks off the DC Cinematic Universe (DCCU). And I am here to tell you fanboys and fangirls that this is the perfect DC Film for you. I'm happy for you guys finally getting the Cinematic Universe you deserve. So enjoy it!

WARNING!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE MY RATINGS, THEY ARE AT THE BOTTOM.

Okay, now that that's out of the way, let's begin.
The film begins at its end, and you'll know what I mean if you've already seen it. If not, read on. But anyway, there is a funeral march. Ben Affleck begins by saying that there were beautiful
things, good things.
We re-live his parents' death, which is actually important to the story later on, as it affects Bruce Wayne in a way that defines the rest of the film. Then we fast forward to the time of Man of Steel, when the world was first introduced to Superman.
Superman (Henry Cavill) and General Zod are dishing it out, knocking out a crap ton of buildings and killing a lot of innocent people. One of Wayne's towers in Metropolis is falling apart, and Bruce calls one of his guys, Jack, to get out of there. Most of his employees get out, but Jack doesn't make it. Bruce runs into the smoke and finds Wallace, an important figure later, whose legs have been smashed by a giant steel pole.
Bruce and some other guys pull him out and Bruce saves a young girl who is devastated because her mother died in the Wayne Tower. Fast forward 18 months.
Lois Lane (Amy Adams) has gone to the desert to speak to a terrorist because (obviously) she wants the scoop. However, one of her camera guys is caught as a CIA or FBI Agent (can't remember) and is killed in front of Lois. Then there's a big shootout and Lois's reporter book/journal thingy gets shot. She recovers it and is taken inside and held hostage.
Superman smashes down into the building where Lois is and takes out the guy holding her hostage easy-peasy. When Lois gets home, she examines the bullet and puts it into a Ziploc bag. Hey! it's interesting! It is actually not government manufactured, so it is something completely off the US Books, which means the men in the desert were funded by a private company. We'll get to that
later.
Batman is still in business and is interrogating people to try and find out what the "White Portuguese" is. All he knows is that it's connected to Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). He believes it is a person and is looking for this mysterious figure. The guy he brands with a bat symbol is the sixth man he has interrogated about the "White Portuguese."
This makes Daily Planet news, and the Batman is still seen as a threat. Clark doesn't like it at all and wants to do a story on it, but Perry White (Laurence Fishburne) forbids him to do so. He then takes matters into his own hands when Batman is on a high speed chase and rips open the Batmobile. Batman stands and faces him.
"The next time they shine your light in the sky, don't go to it. Consider this mercy."
"Tell me, do you bleed?" Superman looks back, and flies away.
                   "You will."
Batman heads back to the Batcave. He's gotta make repairs to it, but he's not worried about that right now. He lost the guys that he was chasing, but luckily he threw a tracker on them. He tracks them back to LexCorp.
That means he needs to break into LexCorp and get the information he needs. Instead of having to break in though, he is invited to a LexCorp party/ball or whatever you want to call it. There, Bruce hacks into the mainframe and gets his data, but it'll take 7 minutes to fully download. So he goes and mingles, meeting Clark Kent there.
Clark asks him about the Bat vigilante and they have a little conversation where Lex Luthor drops in. Lex is then called to attention to meet the mayor and when Clark looks to see where Lex was going, Bruce slips away and goes to get his data. But it's been taken by Diana Prince (Gal Gadot).
I've told you quite a lot, but just know that there are some things you should be aware of when you see the movie. A lot of easter eggs are dropped like Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman, opening up the DCCU. Also, Jason Todd's suit is on display, and when Bruce has his nightmare (Knightmare Batman) he also sees the Red Hood (Jason Todd) yelling at him that he was right about Superman.
So really, they crammed in so much trying to set up this new universe, and I think it was a bit too much, but oh well. Prolly do your research if you're not up to speed with all of this.
Who's funeral were the people at? Why do Day and Night, god and bat, Red and Black fight? Well, see the film for yourself. I think that if you're a DC Fan, you'll absolutely love it.

Ratings:
Family Friendliness- 7.5/10 Bat Symbols: There is a lot of violence and death in this film. It's not really the swearing, it's just that there's a lot of shooting, punching and stuff. Not for your youngins. But it definitely makes for a pretty sweet film.
Storyline- 8/10 Metahumans: The story itself was not bad. It's just that there was a lot of jumping around, y'know? It was very choppy. For example, when Bruce is dreaming, you don't know until he wakes up. Then it doesn't really do a good job of jumping back and forth between Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, and Diana Prince. Also it's kind of slow until the giant explosion in D.C. Washington, D.C. that is.
Rewatch Probability- Medium-High (7/10 Amazons): Personally, when I was in the theatre, the film was not the best view. But once I got out, I couldn't stop thinking about it and everything that transpired. It was well done, but getting out of the theatre is the only thing that prompted me to contemplate the movie. I will say that Ben Affleck actually did a good job of portraying a rageful Bruce Wayne, although in general, he's probably not the Bruce Wayne I would've chosen. He did a good job of showing anger, and it was definitely in the way he fought. I loved his fight scenes. Those were sick, because it reminds me so much of the Arkham games. The fluidity and brutality of his fighting style were beautiful. Thanks Batfleck.
Overall- 7.5

Tom Hanks Double Feature: Big

Alright, I've gotta finish up this Double Feature before I see "Eddie the Eagle" and "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice." So without further a-do... BIG!

B   I   G

Josh Baskin is your typical 12 year old kid. He loves playing video games and he checks out the hot girls at his school. There is a carnival that comes into town and Josh and his family go check it out. The popular girl is there and he wants to impress her by going on the biggest ride at the carnival. Unfortunately, he's too short (we all know how that feels). So, bummed out, he separates from his family and takes a little stroll around.
He finds an old Zoltar Speaks machine and puts in a quarter. Zoltar asks him to make his
wish, and Josh says, "I wish I was big."
The next morning, he finds himself as a thirty year old man, much too big for his 12 year old underwear and pajamas. He scrambles around and gets some of his father's clothing for the time being, and his mother drives him out of the house thinking that her Josh has been kidnapped.
Josh goes to school and convinces Billy that he is indeed Josh, and they go into the city where Josh stays at a hotel. He then starts looking for a job, and gets one at a toy company. His first paycheck, he goes nuts with Billy and they have a blast.
Josh continues working hard and one day runs into the company owner's daughter, Susan. They immediately have chemistry, but no words are exchanged. One day as Josh is at the store, he runs into the company owner, and he starts talking with him about the toys that they sell and manufacture, giving very good feedback. As they're talking, they stumble upon a floor keyboard and well... I'll let you watch it. It's quite a scene, and it always makes me smile.

This is possibly one of the greatest scenes in a film I have ever seen. It really shows that you can still be a kid at heart even though you're in an adult body. I'm gonna keep this in mind when I'm big myself!
Anyway, Josh gets promoted and he is testing all the toys at the company, and he is getting a significant pay raise. So he buys a huge condo to live in and sends his parents letters saying that he is okay and that they shouldn't worry too much.
Josh has a lot of really fun adventures in his adult body, and even dates Susan for awhile! I want you to see the film because it's truly a great film. I say that about virtually any movie, but you're going to love this so much that you'll wanna watch it all weekend. I mean, unless you've got Daredevil to watch, then watch that. THEN watch this. You won't regret it.

Ratings:
Family Friendliness- 8 out of 10 pianos: I have to warn you parents though. At one point in the film (and you'll know it) Josh and Susan are alone and Susan takes off her shirt and bra. It's suggested that they have a romantic moment, but really Josh just caresses Susan's breasts, then it's over. Make sure you cover your youngins' eyes when this comes round. Other than that, a lotta fun humor, although not always appropriate.
Story-line- 9/10 Zoltar Machines: Great story. It's a classic. Watch it.
Rewatch Probability- Very High (9/10): You will absolutely love this movie, hands-down, no joke no thought no-how.
Overall- 9/10

Tom Hanks Double Feature: Bridge of Spies

So, it's March already, and if you're in the Buffalo area, you see the snow out there. Looks like it's gonna be a little bit of a later winter than we thought! Hang in there, guys! But anyway, I am going to do a Double Feature with Tom Hanks! Don't worry, it won't be two movies in one review, that'd be way too much. This review is Bridge of Spies, and the next is Big. So I hope you enjoy!

B   R   I   D   G   E      O   F      S   P   I   E   S

The film begins with Mark Rylance, who plays Rudolf Abel, a supposed Russian spy. He is going about his day, being tailed by American spies.
Rudolf is very elusive, and is good at what he does. While out and about, he is painting
on an easel, and obtains a nickel from underneath the bench he was sitting on. He goes home and inspects the nickel, opening it to reveal information that he must relay back to the Soviets.
Shortly after opening the nickel, his house is broken into by the American spies and the FBI, who start tearing up his room, looking for anything to prosecute him with. Rudolf craftily gets rid of the sheet of paper that was in the nickel by cleaning his paint pallet, and the Americans aren't lucky enough to find it.
Rudolf is then shoved off to jail.
Tom Hanks plays James Donovan, a former New York Prosecution Lawyer, and current insurance lawyer. Here, we see him speaking to another lawyer, who is debating an accident with Donovan, because there was an accident between Donovan's client and the other lawyer's client.                             Donovan's client hit five motorcycles with a car, and the other lawyer is saying that there were five accidents, but Donovan explains with a fun analogy that it was simply one accident. He says that if a tornado sweeps away a house, it did not take every single thing with it, it took the one house, and that is what the insurance will cover, same as this is only one accident with multiple people.
Donovan is later called in by his employer, and the employer asks that Donovan take Rudolf Abel's case. They explain that Abel is a Russian spy, and they are looking to give him a Defense Attorney that will defend him in the court.
Really, the case is just for show, saying that America gave him a fair trial, but he's going to face punishment for being a foreign spy on U.S. soil. However, Donovan is an honest lawyer, and that means that he is going to follow due process of law.
Donovan meets with Abel, and they start building their case. Donovan goes through
procedure, and finds that everything that was found in Abel's home that connects Abel to being a spy was not properly confiscated. The FBI did have an arrest warrant, but there was no proper search warrant; therefore, all of that evidence should be void in the case.
He brings this before the judge that will oversee the case of Rudolf Abel, Judge Byers (Dakin Matthews). Byers doesn't like that at all, and allows the evidence to be used, which is technically not allowed, and should never have gone through with him. But Byers just wants to sentence Abel to the electric chair, and he'll do whatever it takes to get him there.
Donovan doesn't back down however, even when people shoot at his home trying to kill his family. Instead of giving into all of America looking at him with looks of disapproval, he appeals. He eventually takes Abel's case all the way to the Supreme Court, and he wins, allowing Abel to live.
Meanwhile, pilots have been recruited to fly in huge airplanes designed to take massive pictures of land masses while cruising at 70,000 feet. One of the pilots is Francis Gary Powers. Long story short, he's captured.
So after Abel's case, the U.S. and A figure out Powers is being held hostage, and the Russians have contacted the U.S. to negotiate a trade-off. Donovan is sent to negotiate the trade. However, when Donovan gets there, another U.S. kid has been captured. He had gone to Germany to study economics, and got caught on the wrong side of the under construction Berlin wall.
I don't want to bore you with anymore details, so I'll say that through much toil, Donovan negotiates the release of Powers and the Economics kid, and brings them both home safely. The reason the movie is called Bridge of Spies? You'll have to see for yourself.

Ratings:
Family Friendliness- 8/10 Spies: There are some scenes of gunfire, and only on one occasion do people die. Don't worry, there's no blood, but it's still a horrible thing to see. Not something for your 6-10 year old.
Story-line- 10/10 Walls: It is based upon a true story, and any true story is a good story, especially when you have the talent of Tom Hanks in the midst of it. This is definitely a quality movie to see, and it is touching. Good Friday night movie.
Overall-  9/10: This is a great film to watch, as I keep reiterating, and it really sheds some light on the whole situation of the Cold War and how serious it was. I'm sure there are plenty of other films that do the same, but from the few I know of, this has got to be one of the best.

TOMB RAIDER: PoC Official Video Game Review

Well, it has been quite a bit since I posted anything, and I appreciate all of the patience you guys have. But you're not hear to read my apologies, so here we go with Piece of Cake's FIRST video game review of 2016!

T  O  M  B     R  A  I  D  E  R
D E F I N I T I V E    E D I T I O N

Video game reviews are blue, so don't worry about the sudden color change.
Lara Croft is a 21 year old archaeologist who is looking for the lost island of Yamatai, an ancient kingdom off the coast of Japan in an ocean liner, the Endurance. The crew includes:
Captain of the ship: Conrad Roth
His first mate:Angus Grimaldi, aka called Grim
     Head Archaeologist: Dr. James Whitman
     Lara's Best Friend: Samantha Nishimura
     Joslin Reyes
     Jonah Maiava
Everything's going dandy until the crew gets into a dispute about which way to go to get to Yamatai. Whitman wants to go in the typical way that past archaeologists have gone, but Lara begs
to differ. She has studied ancient texts and is suggesting a different route, the way into the Dragon's Triangle, more dangerous than the Bermuda Triangle.
She wants to go that way because no ship has ever returned, and there's legends of Himiko being able to control the storms of Yamatai. Roth agrees. He was a good friend of Lara's father, and loves Lara like a daughter. Plus, Lara has a point, even though it is a far stretch.
They head into the storm and are shipwrecked. Here, Lara is separated from the rest of the crew. And this is where the adventure begins. I'll get straight to it, you have to destroy the body that is holding the soul of Himiko in order to stop the storms so you can escape the island.
Play through a hostile environment filled with wolves, the Solarii (Himiko's bodygaurds), and the other survivors on the island trying to revive Himiko. Upgrade your weapons! Your bow and arrows, pistol, World War 2 Assault Rifle with a Grenade Launcher attached, and Pump Action Shotgun are all ideal tools for your survival, and you'll need every last one of them.
Make sure you wisely upgrade your Brawler Skills, Hunting Skills, and your Survival Skills, as they will come in handy when coming into contact with the other survivors of the island. I'd
say that you HEAVILY upgrade your Brawler and Survival Skills. The Hunting Skills will come in handy when you need a better stability when aiming your bow and other weapons.
But definitely make sure that you are strong Melee wise, as you'll get into a lot of Melee brawls, and if you're underprepared, you're going to have a lot of frustrating episodes where you can't get past those one or two levels that shouldn't be that difficult.
This is truly a great game, and I'd recommend it for anyone who's looking for a good adventure that nicely balances puzzles, battles, and discovery to make a vast open world that is worth exploring after the primary story is done.

Ratings:
Story-line: 9/10 Arrows- The story is engaging and interesting. I definitely had a blast walking through it with Lara. And the fact that Himiko and Yamatai are real places is really satisfying, because it feels like you're actually solving an archaeological mystery! The only thing is that you try to get rescued twice, and both attempts fail. It's really aggravating especially when you had to climb up so many hillsides and rocks to get to that one blasted tower just to have it destroyed, and then you get ambushed by a bunch of bozos with arrows and rifles! But other than that, it's an awesome story. It has a real satisfying ending, too, which is always a plus.
Graphics: 8.5/10 Shotgun Casings- I know there's a lotta folks out there that are in for the graphics. Personally, I just want a quality game. But for you graphics fanatics, this game has stunning visuals. The people look almost real, and the different environments can be haunting if you stay in them too long without a torch. When you come out looking out across the island at the different mountains and valleys, it truly is breathtaking. Soak it all in, because in a few moments, you'll be getting shot at again.
Overall: 9/10- Do the average of the previous two ratings and round up because 5 and up, bump it up! I keep saying this, but I really enjoyed this game. Everything about it was so satisfying and welcoming. I can't wait to play RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER. Apparently, it was better than this one. So definitely looking forward to another adventure with our beloved and beautiful Lara Croft.

The Walk

Well Happy New Year everyone!!! Better late than never, right? So, here I'm going to do my review on "The Walk" starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and then I'm going to do a list of movies in the upcoming year that I will most likely review. Then hopefully later on I'll do game reviews on "Tomb Raider" and "Titanfall." Thanks guys for being patient. I've had a lotta trouble with this concussion, so I'll try to be better at posting. But now, let's get reviewing!

T   H   E        W   A   L   K

The movie is narrated by Philippe Petit, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character. He is
a frenchman who, as a boy, loved line walkers. He first saw them at a circus he snuck into. From that point on, he began teaching himself to walk on a line. As time passed, he became better. He was eventually walking on a single rope line instead of five, and he wanted to improve his walk even more.
But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Philippe describes his life before moving to America. He rides around on a
unicycle carrying his equipment and looking for somewhere to hang up his line and walk. On the line, he will juggle various items, and he has a chalk circle set up that people must stay on the outside of. If they violate his circle, he rides on their toes on his unicycle.
He does not talk while in his circle, he only does his show.
During a show, he gets a horrible tooth ache from a jawbreaker sort of thing and goes to see a dentist, but has to wait for two hours. When he sits down, he picks up a newspaper and sees the story on the Twin Towers in New York City and steals the page, making it his dream to walk across the towers.
One day, he is looking for some place to set up his line and he sees a woman playing the guitar, getting money that way. He watches for a minute or two, and sets up his line away from her, and then begins to perform. The crowds that were interested in the woman then go to Philippe, and she's not happy that Philippe stole her crowd and her money.
Philippe finishes his show and the woman introduces herself as Annie. She explains how Philippe stealing her thunder was not cool. Philippe responds that he did not
mean to; in fact, he set up his line away from Annie, because that was her area where she was performing and demonstrating her talents, and he never wants to hurt another artist.
Annie and Philippe begin their long term relationship, and go through ups and downs all the way to the main event, Philippe walking the Twin Towers.
This is definitely a good family movie to watch, and a good Friday night film too. I highly recommend this film for anyone that loves a good true story.

Ratings:
Family Friendliness- 9/10 Wires: There is no cursing in this film, there is only some minor injuries which show a little blood, but it is a fun film with a lot of laughs.
Story-line- 9/10 bolts: This is very true to Philippe Petit's story, as he himself aided in teaching Joseph Gordon-Levitt to walk on a wire. He also had a hand in how the story was told.
Re-watch Probability- 8/10 Towers: This is an extraordinary film that will leave you breathless. It is truly one to watch over and over again.
Overall- 9/10

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The long awaited return of on of the greatest franchises of all time has come! Today, we will look into J.J. Abrams's new film that has come out just in time for the Christmas Break. By the way, Merry Christmas! I'll do a Christmas post the day of, too.

S T A R   W A R S
E P I S O D E   V I I:
T H E   F O R C E   A W A K E N S

WARNING!!!: SPOILERS AS TO THE BEGINNING OF THE MOVIE ARE CONTAINED IN THIS REVIEW! THE RATINGS ARE RIGHT AT THE BOTTOM IF YOU WANT TO SEE EXPLICITLY THOSE. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The Empire has fallen, and in its place, the First Order has arisen, striking back with a fierce vengeance. Keep in mind that it has been thirty years since the events of Star Wars Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi.
Luke Skywalker has vanished, and the Resistance is desperate to find him and bring lasting peace to the galaxy. General Leia Organa has sent one of her most trusted pilots, Po, to retrieve a portion of a map that Luke left as to his whereabouts. This is where the film begins.
Po has just received the map, and the First Order is coming to get that map, too. So Po makes a run for it with his droid, BB-8. They run to their X-Wing and board while the Stormtroopers wreak havoc. And hey... they've still got bad aim. Well, that's not entirely true. Their aim is actually pretty good.
Anyway, Po gives BB-8 the map and tells him to run... more like roll, since their ship has been compromised. Meanwhile, the camera shifts to a Stormtrooper who witnesses a friend die. Coming to his comrade's side, his helmet is smeared with blood by his friend's hand.
Po is captured and brought before Kylo Ren. They sorta sit there for a minute and then Po says, "So who's gonna talk first? You gonna talk first, am I gonna talk first?" It's some good comical relief. Then Kylo goes on with his evil dialogue, yadda yadda yadda, same old stuff.
Po is then taken to the First Order's base which is, basically, another Death Star. BB-8
makes his escape safely. I believe this is where the story shifts to a scavenger. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I've had some problems with remembering things what with my concussion. But that's not important.
This scavenger is Rey, a beautiful young woman who is just trying to stay alive. To do this, she scavenges scrap metal in return for rations of food. Her rations aren't that great, and I'm wondering if she just had a bad rep with the guy who exchanged rations for the parts.
Anyway, she leaves from where she was scavenging, a fallen Empire Battleship from Episodes IV, V, and VI. After receiving her rations, she goes to where she lives, a fallen AT-AT. It's really cool how they brought things from the original trilogy back.
Well, she's eating and she hears a little skirmish just over the sand dune in front of her, so she goes to check it out. And she discovers none other than BB-8! She helps him outta trouble and agrees to care for him for the day and evening. Alright, back to Po.
He is brought into the First Order Battleship that is hovering over Jakku, the planet that Rey and BB-8 are on. He is then walked into a room and put into restraints. The same Stormtrooper on Jakku that had blood on his helmet is looking to make an escape at the same time Po is being led
to his restraints.
The Stromtrooper walks into the ship Po was brought out of and removes his helmet. Captain Phasma stands behind him and tells him he's gotta turn in his blaster for inspection, because he didn't kill anybody when he was ordered to on Jakku. Because hey, maybe his gun was jammed or something, y'know?
Anyway, Po is in his restraints and is pretty beat up. Kylo Ren sits across from him and admires his ability to work against the various tortures of the First Order. But Kylo gets what he wants. He uses the force to... FORCE... Po to tell him where BB-8 is (see what I did there?). Kylo Ren figures out from Po that BB-8 is back on Jakku. So naturally, they wanna go back.
Later, a Stormtrooper walks into Po's cell, and says, "Ren wants to see the prisoner."
The Stormtrooper leads Po out of the cell and pulls him aside real quick.
"What are you doing?" asks Po as the Stormtrooper removes his helmet. It's the same guy who had blood on his helmet.
                         "I'm helping you escape."
The Stormtrooper then takes Po to the ship's hanger and takes him to a TIE-Fighter. They make a daring escape, during which Po asks the Stormtrooper his name. He responds saying his serial number, FN-2187. Po decides to call him Finn, and the two are then crash-landed onto Jakku.
Finn wakes up and looks around for Po. He finds the TIE-Fighter they were in and retrieves Po's jacket just before the ship sinks into the quick sand.
Is Po dead? Where will Finn go? What's gonna happen with the gir- I mean, Rey? What's gonna happen with BB-8? When do Han and Chewey show up? Who's Kylo Ren? Where's Luke and Leia? All of these questions can be answered at your local movie theater. So go on! Buy those tickets and see this awesome flick! It is definitely worth the price of admission, I promise you.
Later, I'll post another review of the movie. But this time I'll just rant on how awesome it was.

Family Friendliness- 9.5/10 Star Wars is one of the few series that you can take your kids to go watch in theaters and expect no blood, no sensuality, and no cursing. And that still holds true with J.J. Abrams's film in the continuation of the Star Wars Saga. I mean, of course there's lightsaber battles, and those get pretty intense, but hey, that's all part of the fun, right?

Story-line- 9/10 Oh my goodness, if you have seen Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, you're gonna practically re-watch it when you go to see Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. But I mean, if it worked back then, it can definitely work now. And lemme tell you, the story isn't old. It's freaking amazing!!!

Re-watch Probability- High (8/10) I am dying to go back to the theater to see it again. It was such a good movie! I mean, not to mention that J.J. Abrams directed it! Also, they brought back the originals like Han, Chewey, Leia, and Luke; so that was pretty awesome. They even brought back John Williams, the original composer for the other six Star Wars movies!!! I loved this movie guys, and if you are as into Star Wars as I am, or maybe this is your first Star Wars film, you've definitely gotta go see it. It is totally worth it.

Even if you have read the book, you will be wondering what is going to happen next. But there is satisfaction in having read the book!                      The film begins almost immediately. Katniss is with a doctor in District 13 and is getting her neck brace from the first movie removed. It is obvious that quite some time has passed
since the incident with Peeta.
"Alright. Now I want you to say, 'My name is Katniss Everdeen,'" commands the doctor.
                      "Mmmyyy..." Katniss wheezes.
                      "Take your time."
                      "Mmmyyy... nnaaamee... iis... Kaattniss... Everrdeen."
Plutarch is there, witnessing Katniss speak for the first time in a while. He tells Katniss that they are going to try something different today with Peeta. They are going to send in somebody he trusts from District 12, but probably someone he won't hurt. But they're getting closer to letting Peeta see Katniss.
Guess who goes in? If you guessed Prim, kudos to you. Prim goes in and begins talking to Peeta, but that doesn't end so well. Peeta snaps again and starts yelling at Prim about how Katniss is dangerous. "SHE'LL KILL US ALL! YOU HAVE TO KILL HER PRIM! SHE'S DANGEROUS!"
Don't worry, Prim gets out okay, but she's a little shaken.
Katniss then goes to see Coin, and says that Snow has to pay for what he did to Peeta
and to the districts. She wants to go to District 2, where Coin is thinking of shooting "propos" showing that the Mockingjay is alive and well.
Coin agrees and Katniss is on her way.
However, Katniss is not to be going into direct battle. The brilliant minds of District 13 including Beetee and Gale suggest that they smoke out the people in the factory at 2 that is being held by the Capitol. But, they leave an opening that can be used to escape by train. Here, the District 13 officers and Katniss will try to convince them to turn over to the Rebellion.
Katniss goes to the train tracks and awaits the train. When it arrives, most of the men who come off surrender immediately, and one of the men is beat down. Katniss feels bad for the guy and rushes to him. But of course it's a gimmick, and he holds a pistol to Katniss's throat, asking, "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't shoot."
                           "I can't."
Katniss goes on to explain that she is tired of being a pawn in Snow's game, and that if the man kills her, she is doing both Snow and her a favor. The man stops to think and lowers the gun. Katniss then turns to the rest of the Loyalists and begins to beg them to turn the Rebellion. But one Loyalist gets kinda ticked and pulls a gun, shooting Katniss in the chest.
I'm not gonna go on, but obviously Katniss lives. (Sorry for the spoiler alert guys! :P)

Family Friendliness- 7.8/10 Arrows: The film is not the most family friendly, but for what blood there is, there's not much. Just don't go taking your 6 year old to see this; that's probably not the best idea, y'know what I mean? Like, there's not any language, and if there is, it's very minimal. The violence is definitely up there, so just make wise decisions.

Story-line- 9.5/10 Mockingjays: Oh my goodness, if you read the book, you will be geeking out in your seat. What you imagined the scenes would look like when reading the book, they most likely appear that way in the movie. It's beyond amazing. For example, the way Finnick dies... oh gosh, it's so sad, yet it happens so quickly, just like in the book. Katniss says "Nightlock. Nightlock. Nightlock," and Finnick is gone with a big bang, quickly forgotten a couple moments later. It really isn't until the end of the movie when you actually have time to think about everything that has happened that you realize how tragic the deaths were.

Re-watch Probability- Very High (aka 12/13 Districts): You'll be wanting to watch this again as soon as you're out of the theater. So you might as well plan on buying it for unlimited playbacks. Trust me... it's that good.
