God's Not Dead- Part II

Hi guys. I realize that I've been slacking off of the movie reviews, but it's mainly because of all of the homework I've had. All of these Common Core Tests, and now I have to get ready for finals. Yep, it's a lot, and it's been getting in the way of my blogging.
But today, I blog once again!

GOD'S NOT DEAD

Continued...

Last time, I finished up the story of Josh Wheaton. Let's move on to another story. The story of Amy.
Now, Amy is a reporter who always gets the inside scoop when it's least expected. In other words, she likes to pop out on people that she needs to get a scoop on and then she asks them a series of questions, kinda putting them on the spot.
At the beginning of her story, we see that not all is going well for her. The power went out in her house, so she was late for work. She was worried about the power going out again when warming up her coffee, so she takes it out maybe 5 seconds early.
Then when she goes to  her car, we see that she's been robbed. Somebody broke in and stole her GPS. So, a good lesson to be learned here... don't leave things in your car that could get stolen... especially your GPS.
So Amy calls her boyfriend and asks for directions to the place she needs to get to, which is a church. She gets the directions after telling her wealthy boyfriend that she's going to get the scoop on Willie Robertson, from the popular show DUCK DYNASTY.
She gets to the church, and pops out at the famous duck hunter and his wife. She asks him why he kills the ducks, and asks if he thinks it's cruel. He says no, it's his way of life! And as long as he's glorifying the Lord in all he does, then he's okay with it.
Amy also asks what she thinks about people protesting against his praying publicly for the world to hear. He responds by basically saying he doesn't care what people think. He'll worship God freely because he can.
Now, I'll skip ahead and say this: Amy is diagnosed with cancer. It's spread and she has a high chance of dying. The doctor suggests to stop working, but she says she can't do that. As a result, she's going to increase her chances of dying.
She tells her boyfriend, and he doesn't even care. All he wanted was for Amy to get him stories that would sell him money. He never cared for Amy, and he dumps her at dinner. Well, Amy is all alone, and she has one last story to get that we see at the end of the movie.
She goes to the Newsboys, one of the top Christian bands in the country. Here... she gets saved. And we see the Newsboys perform their song, "God's Not Dead."
Speaking of that song... here it is if you wanna hear it.
